Laila Faridoon
Ms Laila Faridoon is a passionate Emirati Speaker, Author and a leading professional advisor in digital & business transformation with more than 19 years of experience with Dubai Government (Executive Director of Chairman Office in RTA for the past 13 years). She is the founder of Looking Forward Consultancy, a professional career mentor and spiritual coach for self and career growth. She has been recently chosen in 2019 as an ambassador of a goodwill by the League of Arab Organization.
She holds a Master’s degree in Computer Science and pursuing her PhD currently in the field of Fourth Industrial Revolution in Kings College London. She graduated through Young Leaders Program under Mohammed Bin Rashid Leadership Program.
She has done extensive work experience in the areas of Corporate Innovation and has left an incredible mark of difference in the field of Project Management by contributing to large projects (such as Expo 2020) and principles of next generation project management in EMEA region.
She is an active researcher in the field of project management and digital transformation. She has presented several topics at top conferences across the world, and her sessions at conferences have been rated highly, as she engages audiences in her unique style delivering messages on how to succeed in business with management tips.
She was featured in many books such as Business Driven PMO Success Stories: Across Industries and Around the World by Mark Perry (2013), The DNA of Strategy Execution by Jack Duggal (2018) and Advanced Project Management (2018) by Harold Kerzner.
She has authored a book “Looking Forward To the Bright Side” that is based on her own journey in life and gives you a guide on how to transform your life to the one that you want.
Ms. Faridoon has extensive experience in boards management, she served in many regional and international boards with different roles: PMI UAE Chapter (President), Dubai International Project Management Forum (President), Hamdan Award for innovation in Project Management (General Secretary), RTA boards of director (General Secretary), UITP Centre of excellence (Board member) and Dubai Quality Group (board member).
Ms. Faridoon has received several awards, the latest being the Middle East Woman Leader in Corporate Management Excellence.
